When using our pellets, for hot smoking or cooking, we recommend starting the smoke with these pellets and then once the desired temperature has been reached start adding some of our single species wood pellets to add flavour. This gets you the best value for money and ensures a consistent burn.

Tips for smoking with wood pellets:

Wood pellets can go directly on to coal barbecues for instant smoking flavour. We recommend the use of a smoker box when using pellets. Place the pellets inside the box and place onto the grill for 20 minutes prior to cooking.
